When I was little my parents and grandparents used to tell me to hold my breath when going through a tunnel, and to lift my feet off the floor of the car when going over a bridge. They’d tell me that if I didn’t do it I’d have bad luck. To this day if I’m going through a tunnel I still hold my breath and lift my feet off the floor of the car, that is if I’m not driving of course!

Wow! I’ve never personally done this but I know a lot of people who were told the same thing growing up and even though now they know it’s not true they subconsciously still tend to do it and that always fascinates me. It’s crazy how something can get so instilled into our mind from such a young age.
