Before taking Psychology 101, I didn’t know how to manage my stress levels and I was often anxious. However, after taking this course, I learned how to cope with stress and I started to become optimistic about life.

Reading about going from anxious to a bit more optimistic is a nice shift to see written down. I took a similar course pass/fail years ago and what stuck with me wasn’t the terminology, it was the boring stuff — actually writing down what was on my mind instead of letting it spin. Funny how the small habits are the ones that last.
My own week was less reflective and more paperwork: a clinic consent form that had to be sent back as one PDF, plus a stack of expense receipts for a reimbursement claim. I ended up photographing everything on my phone and running it through this free in-browser document scanner I’ve been using, LensUp, mostly because I could put both sides of my insurance card on a single sheet instead of sending two files. The compression aims at whatever size you pick, so it can land a bit over, but it went through the portal fine. Files never get uploaded — the processing happens right in the tab, which is why I bothered on a shared laptop.
