When I was little my mom told me if I ate an apple seed an apple tree would grow in my stomach. She was told the same thing when she was a child and so did her mom. I remember not eating apples or any fruit with a seed in it for a long time because I was terrified. Eventually, I figured out that this was not true, we often laugh and joke about it now. But even as an adult now I still find myself thinking about it when I’m eating a fruit with a seed.
