Jumping to Conclusions

This is actually a story a friend of mine told me, but it has taught me to be very careful about making assumptions about someone! One day, she saw a woman walk onto the bus and thought that she was pregnant. Being friendly and wanting to make conversation, she asked the woman when she was due. The woman got a bit upset and told her that she was not in fact pregnant. A super awkward bus ride followed this very short conversation.
